See What Safaricom Has Done To Mama Serikali Tafadhali And Jose The Witnesser

 

They made headlines not because they brought heaven to earth but because they gave very touchy accounts on live TV interviews. Their accounts, as it turned out, made some of the best sound bites ever witnessed in this country. And so despite one of them airing her plight in a very appealing manner, they always pop up because of what they did some year ago.

First there was Jane Anyango Adika, famously known as Mama Sirikali Tafadhali. She made headlines with her plea to the government whenever floods hit the Nyando planes where she hails from.

Then there came Joseph Mburu who would later be nicknamed Jose the Witnesser. He is famously remembered for his catchy phrase Ni Kama Vindeo Ni Kama Ndrama which he gave while explaining an incident that had occurred.

And as the two were sinking into oblivion, it is rumoured that the country’s biggest telecommunications company Safaricom has landed deals with the two.

The deals will see the two walk away with full pockets as they will be used in Safaricom adverts  for the Stori Ibamabe na Storo bonus campaign.

Jose the Witnesser is already on most media outlets.
