Senator Mike Sonko Jumps on the Kidero Grass Saga…Does He Ridicule him as Well? Find Out..

For the first time ever, Senator Mike Sonko and Governor Evans Kidero are rowing their boats towards the same direction as Nairobi relishes welcoming the world for the Global Entrepreneurship Summit that is already underway.

However, the talk point is the imminent visit of the most powerful man on earth, President Barack Obama of the US, who, interestingly, has his roots in Kenya.

And as a sign of welcoming Obama and other dignitaries from across the world, the Nairobi County Government embarked on the beautification of the city.

Among the things Kidero’s government did was to plant grass on the major roads Obama is expected to use, grass that was expected to grow in three days as Kenyans were warned not to step on it.

This was the reason why twitter and other social media platforms roared sarcastically to what Kidero had done, with the hash tag #Kiderograss trending tremendously.

And as the mockery continues, Kidero’s closest political rival Senator Mike Sonko has jumped to the defense of his nemesis.

Sonko seems to play wise here as he doesn’t want to wash their dirty linen in front of visitors.

The two are seen showing the togetherness sign as they welcome the world to their stronghold.

Sonko told Kenyans:

“… So let us take advantage of the opportunities this week’s visit and summit present. President Obama symbolizes a young man who used his talent and drive to make a real difference. It is now time for those in government and our partners in the business sector to find the stars of the future….
