Shock As Governor Joho Slaps Non-Coast Artistes With A Hefty 200k Performing Fee

Mombasa County Governor Hassan Joho is not smiling with any artiste outside the county. Anyone who wants to entertain Coastal people and they are from outside the county is only welcome after meeting some requirements.

So the Mombasa County government wants to make money through all means possible. And the latest trap they have set to harvest as much cash as they want is to demand that any artiste who hails from outside the county and wants to perform in Mombasa must fork out at least 200K for the county government.

This is interesting, right?

Now sit back and hear the reason why the Governor has resolved to do this. You see, Joho believes Coastal artistes are not progressing because of the competition their counterparts from other parts of the country and beyond are giving them.

So the governor aims at PROMOTING LOCAL TALENT.

By putting restrictions on ‘foreign artistes’, Joho believes this will save the shimmying industry. LOL!

Hata hii fani lazima ilipiwe kaka? Yes, lazima mwanangu!

Joho was speaking on Friday during the International Youth Day celebrations in his county.

Well, now you know… brace yourself because Joho means every word he spoke over the weekend.
