Signs of End Times? Shock as Rivers of Blood Flow Freely in the Streets like The Biblical Egyptian Plague Which Turned River Nile Red (Photos)

It was certainly a disconcerting sight.

And for those who didn’t know it’s cause, they thought the end times were near. Just like the Nile River in Egypt turned red during the infamous ten plagues that brought the ancient kingdom to its knees, the streets of Dhaka in Bangladesh turned red with bloodied water.

But this time it wasn’t Aaron who smote the waters, the streets turned red after the heavy slaughtering during the recently concluded Eid al-Adha Festival. Eid al-Adha is an Islamic celebration that comes after the end of Hajj, the annual Islamic pilgrimage to Mecca. The Festival honor’s Ibarahim’s willingness to offer his son as a sacrifice in order to comply with God’s wishes.

During the festival meat is usually slaughtered in copious amounts and is divided between the immediate family, relatives and neighbors and the underprivileged and disadvantaged. Due to the heavy slaughtering and heavy rains in Dhaka, the streets ended up getting flooded with crimson water.
