RAIN aims at bringing together businesses, local governments, NGO’s and committed individuals to improve access to water and sanitation in Africa. Half of Africa’s population suffers from diseases related to unsafe drinking water and poor sanitation. a figure that may increase to 47 million in three years if nothing changes.
The song aims to raise $10,000 and Solange was quoted by S2S magazine saying; “It inspires hope when it’s more upbeat and spirited, and I think that that is what the conversation should be about,” said Solange, who’s also making a name for herself as a DJ.
