Gerald Langiri is a disturbed man and it has everything to do with celebrities who once fat- sorry plus sized and are now skinny.

He has a problem with the way celebrities who were once fat always preach self confidence and acceptance only for them to turn around and change tact when they eventually become skinny.

“Sell outs I tell you. They make being fat look cool and give you confidence in your own body like you can conquer the world with it… then they betray you and hit the gym and start eating right, get back into shape, start a reality show about their weight loss and preach “living healthy” he stated.

The Squad has been described as a show with a stellar cast of entertainers who are not afraid of tackling any issue however controversial or taboo it may be.

Kenya Film Classification Board (KFCB) CEO, Ezekiel Mutua, cracked the whip on Kaz and Nini Wacera’s ‘The Spread Podcast’, a show that was said to give lesbians the platform to speak freely.

The Squad a new all-female talk show that features hottest entertainment talents; Nice Githinji, Elle Ciiru, Lucy Muturi and Chantelle Siameto.

The new talk show is produced and directed by Janet Kirina; it will be airing every Thursday at 8pm on the newly launched Ace TV.
