The Kuku Pono Woes! Two Men Caught On Camera Delivering Strange Marabou Stork To Restaurants In Nairobi.

Last night, two men were caught on camera transporting wild birds on motorbikes  to a destination we can only assume was an eatery in Nairobi.

 The incident caught on camera happened last night and was caught on camera by one Jarunda Jaluth Mambobiad.  The birds, marabou stork had been captured at the Dandora dump-site where they roost, eating from the sprawling refuse. 

Just to shed light on Marabou, Marabou are the ugliest species of birds in the word known for eating carrion, as in dead and decaying flesh, like vultures. Since it’s head and neck are bare, it can poke deep inside a dead animal’s body without getting its feathers messy. Other than Carrion they are fond of food  that a witch might put in a stew: insects, baby crocodiles, flamingos, small mammals, frogs and fish.

Now these birds that feed on refuse are slowly finding their way to Nairobi eateries where they are sauteed and roasted and sold to unsuspecting customers. Lets see, you might not die from consuming this bird even though it has been called the “undertaker bird”, but we are talking of the type of Marabou that feeds off  the Dandora dump-site, the amount of toxins on that average bird is what might herald your trip to an early death. 

It is therefore imperative to check what you eat in restaurants or simply just go to s place whose food you can trust.
