This Is What Mike Sonko Did For The Old Cucu Thrown In Jail For Stealing Plastic Chairs.

A few days ago, we were introduced to the plight of an 87 year old granny who was thrown unceremoniously into jail after the police got two plastic chairs in her house which had been reported stolen.

The interwoven story got sadder after it was revealed that the chairs had been stolen by her grandson who had in turn kept them in his grandmothers house. In the light of her arrest the director of public prosecutions Keriako Tobiko ordered for her release but by the time of the decree, the Sonko Rescue Team had already secured her release by paying her bail of 5000 which had been imposed by the court.

Shortly after her release the Sonko rescue team rushed her to a private clinic in Migori  for a check up aboard their ambulance and later did shopping for her.

Such empathy restores my faith in humanity. Kudos to the team.
