This Was State House’s Perturbing Reaction After Kenyans Trolled President Uhuru For Snubbing Injured And Dead KDF Soldiers

Kenyans have been grumbling about the President’s conspicuous absence at Wilson Airport to receive fallen and injured KDF soldiers returning from Somalia. State House has now responded.

Defence Cabinet Secretary Raychelle Omamo has been wagging on people’s tongues following her admired show of compassion to soldiers returning from Somalia.

President Uhuru on the other hand has been strongly criticized for missing in action at Wilson Airport with critics arguing he overlooked KDF tragedy to focus on wooing Coastal people, who are deemed to be inclined to opposition, into his pouch.

State House spokesperson Manoah Esipisu yesterday came out to shed light why the head of state didn’t cut short his trip to the Coast to attend to a national tragedy.

Manoah says the President’s engagement in the ceremony at Wilson Airport would have given the Al-Shabaab militants attention.

Addressing members of the fourth estate at State House Mombasa, Manoah said if the president attended the ceremony Al Shabaab militants would celebrate their hideous acts and that would demoralize KDF soldiers who are in a state of combat.
