MTN Uganda Rewards Our Representatives at the Common Wealth games

MTN Uganda is the leading telecommunicatioms company in Uganda and this is not just because of the services it provides. It also recognises those who have made a larger contribution both to the company itself but also the country at large. They have rewarded the people that represented Uganda at the common wealth games with a bunch of goodies.

From the 2018 common wealth games, Uganda has managed to scoop gold medals, silver and bronze from our representatives. There were also other games such s weightlifting, squash and pool that we participated in.

She Cranes beats Australia at the commonwealth Games

She Cranes have made a bold mark on their maiden appearance at the Commonwealth, Australia. After whitewashing Wales on 76-40 in our third game of Pool B, the girls overcame Scotland 57-37.

With the star command of team captain Peace Proscovia, the team led by slim margins 14-11 and 12-10 in the first and second quarters respectively.

In the third and final quarters they bravely accomplished task with broadened margins of 15-9 and 16-7 respectively.

However, the result was not enough to see Uganda through to the semifinals. They needed a 39 or 40 points margin win since England beat New Zealand 54-45 earlier.
