Douglas Lwanga may have left NTV, but The Beat is not crying for long. They have finally concluded the search for their next favorite TV presenter thanks to your votes. Congratulations to Tracy Kababiito and Daggy Nyce. Tracy posted;

NTV the Beat may have lost Douglas Lwanga, but they are not going down any time soon. They are on the search to find the next big thing on National television. They called for different applcations for the next presenter of the show and we responded. The TV show has some great news for us. They mentioned;

“We set out to find the next best thing in this showbizness. We called for entries, you responded! And we are getting there. The next BEAT presenter!!! The search is finally down to the top 8. From a pool of over 50 applicants. We have selected the top 8 contestants. GET READY TO VOTE!

Sheila Gashumba is the current host of NTV The Bet

The show was previously hosted by multi talented, Sheila Gashumba, and Douglas Lwanga. Douglas however moved on to mint gold coins in NBS TV. He is now the host of a brand new show, which he does with Anita Fabiola, NBS katchup. Together with kats, they have also revamped NBS After5.

The participants featured as guest hosts on the show. However, it looks like NTV is out to get a permanent replacement for Douglas.

Mc Daggy Nyce to replace Douglas Lwanga on NTV’s the beat show

After Douglas Lwanga left NTV, the void has not an easy to fill! To begin with, the Serana based station introduced Esco MC on NTV The Beat for a few days. Later on, Crysto Panda took the reins before he was joined Sheilah Gashumba. Well, many thought, the duo would do the job!

However, rumours making rounds indicates that event MC, Daggy Nyce will soon be unveiled as the host of the popular music show!

It seems to be getting real as other celebraties have started congratulating him.
