Purple Party to Hold Grand Finale at Spenah Beach

What started as a small fun party idea by Douglas Lwanga, has taken over the country in less than five years. The Purple Party is back, and this time, it will be holding the giant of all Purple Parties. The tour has been in all regions of the country, bringing all the best musicians in Uganda to our stages.

Te Purple party has take a tour to as far as Jinja, Mbale, Mbarara and Hoima and is now ready to hold the final event this December, at Spenah Beach

Nina Roz gets too drunk to Perform at purple party

While at the ever colourful purple party event in Mbarara over the weekend, Boom Bark Records songstress Nina Roz failed to fully reward her fans for what they had paid for.

Singer Nina Kakunda famously known as Nina Roz, took to stage while visibly tipsy and for sure she couldn’t even sing a complete line in any of her songs.

The Omuliro hit star, who was on her announcement on to stage eagerly waited for by her fans ended by putting up a dismissal performance as she only sang quarter ways of her two songs and couldn’t pull off any of her dance strokes which left her fans disappointed.

Nina, for those who have watched her perform when not highly drunk she is such an energetic dancer and a confident stage performer who actively engages the audience. But this time round the Mbarara revealers who had flocked the event heavily booed her acts on stage and threw unkind words to her until she had to leave stage unwillingly.

However, we hope Nina Roz you turn back strong and focused so as you give back always what your fans expect from you.

Mbarara are you ready? Douglas Lwanga’s Purple Party is Just Days Away

We all know that Douglas Lwanga is the king of parties and events. From planning the whole thing, to funding it and then emceeing it. The purple party trend, that started a small thing has swept party animals from all over the country. This time, it is heading to Mbarara.

Mbarara town will receive the third edition of the purple party tour on 7th July. This came after the people from the land of milk and honey complained, and requested for a venue closer to the town, which would be more accessible. Douglas listened, and is splashing them with yet another great experience. The show will shut down Agip Motel.

ARTISTS WHO WILL BE PRESENT

It is never a party without the music and the dance. Fille, Spice Diana, Nina Roz, Fefe Buusi. Bebe Cool, Allan Toniks, Latinum, Ray G, Mc Kats, Kacheche, Sheila Gashumba and many more, will be there to give you all entertainment like never before. Get your party Shoes ready!

Douglas Lwanga Wins Best Party Host at Starqt Awards 2017

The recently concluded Stargate awards left Lwanga Douglas calebrating.

According to our sources, the Starqt Award aims at Uniting, Acknowledging, Recognising, celebrating, and reward grounding breakers that impact on their societies.

It celebrates efforts made by various people to leave impacts. The forth annual award was on 4th November 2017 at Bedford View City hall in Johannesburg, South Africa.

There were may categories present uder four major divisions;Unsung heroes, Business, Lifestyle and Entertainment.

Douglas Lwanga, our popular TV presenter, of NTV the beat, host of the purple party and ambassador for Yuppies clothing was one of the lucky people to get rewarded.

He got an award for Best host, because of his much celebrated purple party. We all know that these parties have been moving throughout the entire country. They got each and every region covered.

Douglas Lwanga posted a thank you to South Africa, but did not go deeper into it because the country is still mourning the death of Dizzy Nats.
