Case hospital to refund Radio’s Unused hospital funds.

Case hospital in a bid to clear it’s current bad reputation has decided to refund  unused funds of Radio’s treatment. As we saw, the amount of money given towards the treatment by wellwishers was a lot.

The hospital released a statement earlier today that reads as follows.

“Moze Radio was admitted to Case Hospital having been referred from Nsambya Hospital after he suffered major injuries to his head while in Entebbe.An emergency surgery was performed and patient was admitted to Intensive Care Unit where he was being managed until he passed away on Thursday, 1st February at 7:00am. We thank all members of his family, friends, well-wishers and his Excellency the President of Uganda Mr. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni and Bryan White both of whom contributed significantly to Moses Ssekibogo’s hospital bills. THE MANAGEMENT OF CASE HOSPITAL WILL PASS ON ALL UNUSED FUNDS BACK TO THE LATE’S IMMEDIATE FAMILY. Prayers and fond memories are what we remain with to remember our dearly departed”

Although this was a good gesture, there’s still a lot more to be done in Uganda’s health care.

Rest in peace Radio.

Fr. Deogratious kateregga explains the purpose of his sermon At Radio’s requiem mass

From. Deogratious Kateregga has become a sort of internet celebrity after his sermon at Radio’s requiem mass.  The youthful priest preached the scriptural double edged sword that is God’s word.

In his sermon,  he called out celebrities on only coming to church for funerals and not to replenish their spiritual life.

“The sermon I gave was like my usual sermons. It’s just that some people got to listen to my sermon for the first time. I’m a student of journalism, I’m aware of whatever is going on. When I’m at the pulpit, I don’t abuse anyone, I don’t rebuke anyone and I don’t reprimand anyone. I intend to preach for conversation”, said Rev Fr Kateregga in an interview with NBS TV.

“If I reprimand anyone, I do it in God’s way”, he added.

Kateregga further explained why he grilled celebrities during the preaching as he said; “Some celebrities don’t come to church. I tried to tell them that a prayer is good. Prayer is positive power. They (celebrities) need to counsel themselves first. If there is need for counseling, we can organize it. The youth think God is just going to help. You put 100% hard work and 100% God. There is no good in the shrines. Go to churches, mosques and pray. There are priests and imams willing to teach you the word of God.”

Radio Father Drama: The Men who claim Claim he is their Son

Sensational Singer the Late Moze Radio was buried on Saturday but he is yet to Rest in Peace.  Since his death a number of men have come up to claim ownership of his decent. It leaves little to imagination of where they have been all this time.

Here they are;

Saul Kalibwami (70) Who hails from Galikwoleka, Luweero came up furiously claiming he is the legitimate ‘father’ to Radio. He was even making demands that he be buried in that very area where his forefathers rest. he asks anyone with doubt to carry out blood tests to prove his claims. Kalibwami is of Rwandan decent.

George Asiimwe of Tooro claims he met Jane (Radio’s mother) in 1985 on William street. He says they then spent the night in a hotel where she got pregnant but kept the secret in fear of her mother. he adds that he has known for a long time that Moze was his son.

George says he was never able to give his son a biological name because his mother went away while she was still pregnant and got married. He is frustrated at not being able to bury his son where his forefathers were buried which may cause him problems.

What do you think?
