SK Mbuga driver jailed in connection to Susan Magara’s Murder

According to media reports, Abudallah Ssengooba, a former driver of jailed tycoon SK Mbuga was arrested last week in Kampala over the murder of Susan Magara.

It is reported that Ssengooba was briefly detained at CPS last week on Friday before being taken to Nalufenya for further questions.

Bukedde reported that that Ssengooba was arrested since he once the driver of prime suspect Patrick Agaba who is rumoured to have received a ransom of Shs700m from the family of late Susan Magara.

It was further reported that Ssengooba allegedly exchanged calls with Agaba during the time of Susan’s kidap.

“Ssengooba exchanged numerous calls with Patrick Agaba during the time when Susan was still under Kidnap. It is however not yet established if he has any connection in the kidnap and Killing of the former.More so, it is reported that Police believes that Ssengooba drove Patrick Agaba to Entebbe International aiding his escape from Uganda”, Bukedde

Kidnapped City Cashier, Susan Magara’s Body found

From a few weeks back, Ugandans have been living in fear. This is because of the range of kidnaps that has hit the city. Susan Magara, a city accountant, was one of the victims of this unfortunate act. The kidnapped Magara’s body has been discovered in Kajjansi

Susan was a cashier for Bwendero Dairy Farm. She was kidnapped a few meters from her home, in Lungujja, Lubaga division, as she was driving back. The criminals called her family last week, and demanded for about one million USD.

The deceased is a daughter to John Magara, the owner director of Bwendero Dairy farm in Hoima district. The police flying squad unit has since then been hunting for the 28 year old, from last month.

 

THE NEWS OF HER DEATH

The unfortunate news of her death came on Tuesday, when her body was discovered in Kitiko. This is between Kigo and Kajjansi, somewhere close to the Entebbe Expressway.

In a press conference, a policeman, Byakagaba mentioned that the body had been taken to Mulago for a post motem. She will then be handed over to her family for burial.

The police is offering 100m uganda shillings for anyone who has information on this murder case.
