Bebe Cool Lands UN Deal as Tuberculosis Ambassador

Ladies and Gentlemen, Moses Ssali, aka Bebe Cool has done it again. As many artists fight to be ambassadors for fancy outfits, makeup of flashy gadgets, the Ugandan award winning star has been nominated by UN to fight against Tuberculosis. He is now the Tuberculosis Ambassador in Uganda.

Thanks to the Uganda Stop TB Partnership and the United Nations Office for Project Services in Geneva, the star has been assigned to raise awareness about the disease in Uganda.

“To support the Uganda Stop TB Partnership, Ministry of Health and UNOPS in the campaign to end Tuberculosis in Uganda is a big responsibility that me and many Ugandans should embark on to save lives that are lost each passing day because of this killer disease. Am proud to take on this responsibility for my motherland Uganda”. Bebe Cool said, according to our sources.

The artist traveled to attend the United Nations High Level Meeting on Tuberculosis, where he performed for various delegates.

It should be noted that this is not the first time the singer is taking up a big task to promote health. He has often times raised money to support children with cancer, with surgery in India. Great Job Bebe!

Bebe Cool Gets Executive Director of the Stop Tuberculosis Partnership Dancing To Kabulengane

Bebe Cool has made use of the first platform he had, to begin spreading awareness about Tuberculosis. Following his nomination as the Uganda Tuberculosis Ambassador, the singer traveled to attend the United Nations General Assembly High Level Meeting on Tuberculosis, and he got the Executive Director of the Stop TB Partnership Lucica Ditiu get on her feet to dance to Kabulengane

The  night with the stars had the various stars selected to create awareness on TB interact. Lucica danced to Bebe’s hit song, and pulled some kiganda dance strokes. Watch the video below!
