Upcoming artist Banko UG accuses winnie Nwagi of stealing his song

Winnie Nwagi and voltage music are currently in a song ownership battle with an upcoming artiste known as Banjo UG over a song which he claims is rightfully his.

Banko claims he concieved the song and planned to record it with the duo at Sound Print Studios owned by Voltage Music.

“We were supposed to do a remix of one of my songs but then I thought why not record a new track. That’s how we came up with Byadala,”  Banko narrates.

“We were planning to shoot a video but I was surprised when I saw Kent and Flosso saying they had a new song  called ‘Byadala’ with Winnie Nwagi,” he adds.

Banjo has released his version on YouTube and promises to sue if Nwagi releases hers.

Banko  says he is going to court if Nwagi releases the song. He  has since uploaded the original version online.

Kent and Flosso win viewers choice on Urban TV poll

The duo released “Byafaayo,” and within two weeks, the song has become a monster hit in clubs, radio and TV.

In the poll carried out on Urban TV’s skizzy, Kent and Flosso as voltage music were head to head with Bernie Gunter, b2c and Apass.

Urban TV announced the winner in congratulatory message on their twitter handle. In response, Kent and Flosso thanked Urban TV and their fans for voting.
