Wema Sepetu in trouble over drug abuse and possession

Wema was set free just hours after being sentenced to serve a one year jail term for smoking bhang.

The actress, who is a former girlfriend of bongo flava artiste Diamond Platnumz, had early on Friday morning been found guilty of two counts of drug possession and abuse by a Dar es Salaam court.

Presiding judge Thomas Simba sentenced Wema to one-year jail term with an option of paying a fine of Tsh2 million (Sh88,000).

The actress went for the second option paying the fine around midday thus securing her freedom. This was confirmed by her lawyer Alberto Msando.

“My client Wema Sepetu was found guilty of two accounts and as per the ruling she had an option of paying the fine of or going to jail for a year. I would like to confirm that my client has paid the fine of Tsh2 million and having done that, she is free” Msando said.

Diamond’s ex Wema Sepetu, who was accused of causing Zari- Diamond separation, has  disclosed how she lost her pregnancy three months ago. The Tanzanian beauty has struggled to get a child since she was 23-years-old.
Wema emotionally divulged how she lost her two-month-old pregnancy barely three months ago. In a heart wrenching narration, the film star revealed how she endeavoured to keep the pregnancy including fasting severally and even keeping vigil at night to pray.
“I have struggled so much. I don’t have the words. I have fasted several times and woken up dead in the night to keep vigil and pray,” she said.
The voluptuous model revealed she has now decided to appreciate and love other people’s children. Twenty-nine-year-old Wema, who has never shied away from sharing her her struggle trying to get a child, divulged she has been trying to get a baby since she was 23.
She revealed her plans to open two shopping malls for selling kids’ clothes exclusively due to her love for children.
Because I love children and I’m yet to get one, I intend to open two big shops to sell kids clothes which will be named Little Sweetheart and I’m at the final stages,” she said.
She refuted claims she was carrying Diamond’s child clarifying it was somebody else’s.

Diamond Platnumz Officially received the go-ahead from the Tanzanian Government to have his TV and Radio on the Air. You wont believe who is winning big from this.

According to Wema, the job offer has nothing to do with rekindling their relationship which ended in 2014. She stated that they have matured and have goals to work for as individuals.

“Diamond and I are just friends. We have matured and decided to grow up.  We therefore decided to put aside our initial differences and work together”, she stated.

When asked about the job offer, she stated that she really looking forward to it.

“Diamond is going to be my boss and I will host a show on Wasafi TV”, she revealed.

Wema was also quick to emphasise that she had no hand in the fall-out between Zari and Diamond. She stated that the chapter between her and Diamond is closed and they both got over it.

The internet was however awash of pictures of the two being cozy at the wasafi records party which led Zari to break up with her baby daddy.

Ex lovers Wema sepetu and diamond platnumz are still best of friends regardless of their past.

Former miss Tanzania turned 29 last weekend and diamond was the first to congratulate her on Instagram.

Diamond’s former fiance is also best friends with his latest baby mama, Tanzanian model Hamisa Mobeto who was also fast to wish her a happy birthday.

This is when you realise how small the world is.
