It was a dark 40th day for armed thugs who had paid a visit to a mall in Eastleigh.
The thugs, reports indicate had managed to steal clothes and other valuables by tossing them on the other side of the fence before the police locked them in. An impatient lot that had gathered rushed into the mall and flushed out the arm robbers giving one of them a sound beating before the police intervened.
Other robbers managed to escape via a rope that had been tethered behind the mall.
