What Gloria Muliro does when she’s Not Making Hits

 

Gloria Muliro is definitely one of the most celebrated Gospel singer in Kenya. With 4 albums to her name, Gloria started sing in 1997 and has slowly risen to be the best female Gospel artist as she went on to receive the female artist of the year award at the eighth Groove awards (2013).

With all this to her name, Gloria, known for her quiet life, is one of the most charitable celebs around. The ‘Msaidizi’ singer has lent her name to a good cause.

Together with her husband, Eric Omba, she runs Gloria Muliro Foundation – a children’s home that house 23 destitute kids at her rural home in Emuhaya, Western Kenya.

Aged between 6 and 12, the foundation has taken the kids through school and of course Christian values as well as taking care of their well-being as a whole.

Gloria says she almost shares the same background as the kids as both she and her husband went through a difficult childhood, something that has always given her the push to give back to the society.
