Jackson Onunga’s poster in which he was looking for a wife was widely shared on social media as people were amused by his unconventional strategy.
Mr. Onunga wanted a wife who was willing to run a business and one who could engage in farming activities. He invited serious applicants to call him on his mobile phone before 30th March 2017.
And just a few weeks after his poster went viral, Onunga has found his match. Johnson, who was featured on The Nairobian, revealed that an applicant from Kisumu had won his heart.
He revealed that over 800 ladies called him but only 12 appeared to be serious and committed. Onunga settled for a certain Pauline Akinyi whom he says was overqualified.
“800 people called me but only 12 appeared to be serious and committed. Pauline came to me from Kisumu, having seen my story in the paper. She was overqualified! She is young, humble and soft-spoken, and genuinely cares for me,” Onunga told the Nairobian.
The two lovebirds are already planning to walk down the aisle soon; Onunga now calls Pauline as his wife.
“We have already begun our marriage. We will make it official in a church in a few months, but as of now, we are husband and wife,” Onunga disclosed.
