Yet another celebrity abandons the arts to become a politician…..he plays a major role in Citizen’s Mother in Law

Yet another celebrity has made the ultimate declaration that he’s abandoning the arts to join the murky waters of politics.

He’s none other but Patrick Oketch popularly known as Charlie in popular TV series Mother in Law.

The actor who plays as Celina’s husband made the announcement earlier on today on social media assuring his fans that he had made the ultimate decision after much consultation with various stakeholders and his people.

“After long deliberation and consultation with my people. They have managed to convince me to run for office,

“I will be contesting the Embakasi East parliamentary seat. I will be addressing the press soon. God bless you and God bless Emba,” Charlie posted.

The established script writer joins the likes of Frasha and Nyasuguta are also in the title race for various seats.
