Mombasa Senator Hassan Omar stripped his suits and glasses the other day, donned a football kit and took to the field to play with his Mombasa county residents at Bomani Grounds.

The aim of the tournament was to spread peace and security messages towards youths and all Mombasa residents.

Mombasa and its environments are prone to terror attacks, with some youths believed to have been radicalized by the Al Shabaab.
