Successful Kenyan comedian, Njugush has succeeded in making a name for himself but his regret is one.
Having carved out a niche for himself in the lucrative industry of comedy, the petite father of 1 has one regret: failing to love himself when he was younger.
Timothy Kimani better known as Blessed Njugush revealed this while speaking to Standard´s ´Sunday Magazine´.
It pains him that we tend to direct our energy in life towards the wrong things, the wrong people.
Because for him, given a chance, he would learn to love himself more than other people who matter less once you get to your downfall.
We waste so much time partying with people who would not care if anything happened to you and neglect the people who would be there for you in any circumstances.
If I could give advice to my younger self, I would say to love myself more. Not doing so is my biggest regret. I wish I had loved myself more. I always cared about other people more than me. You waste so much time, money and emotions on people who do not even care about you. I always wonder what I could have achieved if I had loved myself more back then.
I used to find it difficult to say NO, so I would end up getting overwhelmed.
His post attracts fans and followers who cannot agree less with his sentiments.
Will look for this one because, I look back at my life and wish I loved myself more!!! I always felt not worth anything😢
Hardly 2 months ago, the humor-filled personality lost a cousin to depression which was one of the worst moments in his life.
Depression stinks and many do not understand it. And the sad thing is that many don’t understand it. People see you turn to alcohol and think that the alcohol is what caused the depression, yet the reverse is true.
