A baby never comes when you are looking for it – Kate actress opens up on her pregnancy struggles

Celebrated actress, Catherine Kamau alias Celina, has come a long way when it comes to her pregnancy struggles.

She got her first, a son, barely at the tender age of 19, and had to compromise on a lot to be able to take up the responsibility of being a young mother.

Well, her son is now 13, all grown and probably clocking that age when you think you can make your own decisions. That is fine and normal anyway.

Thing is that, she never desired to have a second child, until she met her Romeo and could not think twice about getting a second.

Unfortunately, since her encounter, she has had to struggle to get a second for a whooping decade. Especially having in mind that she had one already, it looked like a simple A..B..C.

But that proved tougher than anyone could imagine. According to her, her heart´s desire was just to conceive once more, before tying the knot with hubby, Phil Karanja.

But that seemed futile for her, at the time. So she quit on her strongly-held ambition, and the two had their nuptials 2 years ago.

Her heart kept craving for a child but every time they tried, it bore zero fruits.

Sometimes I would immediately test for pregnancy after finishing our business but the results were negative. A baby never comes when you are looking for it.

Funny enough, when she had just given up and stopped trying, she conceived and has never been happier.

In her You Tube channel, she confesses that she is a very impatient individual, unlike her better half, Phil Karanja who likes things that are planned and systematic. No rush.

I remember I really wanted one before the wedding. I was in a rush to get one. Being the planner that he is, we delayed. I am the most impatient person in the world and I started getting so disappointed.

There are always two sides of a coin. Despite their differences in siring children, she remains more than grateful to her lover for his unconditional support both to her and her son.
