Recently married, Ruth Matete took the chance to thank the two most dear men in her life, her hubby and her dad for walking this journey with her despite the hurdles.

Through her Instagram page, she showered her hubby with praise, thanking him for ´making an honest woman out of her´.

The songbird went ahead to reveal that even though she was not complete, it took her Beloved John to make her whole.

¨You are the right partner and I am a better version of me since I met you¨ she continued.

Above all, she expressed her gratitude for growing deeper in faith with God which only came to be after meeting her Nigerian pastor.

Moving on to her dad, as she celebrates a mum she never had the chance to meet, and she affirms that he stood by her all through, after mom passed on, 8 years later.

Showering her dad with praises and love, Ruth Matete described just how much her dad invested in her and brought her up with tact, despite being a single father.
