Beautiful: Conjoined twins celebrate their 1st birthday since separation

Blessing and Favour who have now turned 3 years, celebrated their birthday on 7th September for the first time separately after they underwent a successful surgery to separate them 10 months ago.

This being a special day for the girls, they were joined by friends, family and apparently some of the Kenyatta Hospital staff who could not miss out on the party which was actually the 1st birthday celebration the girls held at home since they had been hospitalized for long as the doctors were trying to find a way to separate the girls who were born joined at the pelvis.

Their mother could not hide the joy of seeing her girls enjoy their birthday outside the hospital which they had already started calling home. She said;

“I am indebted to KNH family because had it not for you, it would not have been an easy journey”
