Dennis Oliech and family finally receive their late brother’s body (Photos)

Dennis Oliech‘s family lost their youngest Kevin Opiyo Oliech on Sunday 16, August to lung cancer. As reported the young man had been battling with the illness for a while before he finally rested.

Those close to the family went on to reveal that the late Kevin Opiyo Oliech had ungone different medications; but the cancer got more aggressive forcing him to move to Germany for better treatment.

The young man however did not make it out alive as he was reported dead on 16, August. His family has however tried to keep the news on the low but thanks to Mike Sonko we understand that the body arrived on Thursday, 3rd September.

The body was received by close friends and family who availed themselves at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.

Sonko’s message

As seen on the Governor’s social media pages, Sonko not only sent his condolences; but also promised to give the late Kevin the send off he deserves.

According to Sonko, the late Kevin’s body is currently being preserved at the Umash funeral home ahead of his burial. He went on to disclose that Kevin will be laid to rest in Seme, Kisumu County where his late mum was also laid to rest.

Sonko wrote;

Tonight, in the company of the Oliech family and friends, we received the body of the late Harambee Stars player Kevin Oliech at JKIA after arrival from Germany, where he succumbed to cancer while receiving treatment.The body has been transferred to Umash to Funeral Home ahead of his burial on Saturday in Seme, Kisumu County.Kevin who is a brother to former Harambee Stars Captain, Dennis Oliech, passed on in Germany last month.I shall continue supporting the Oliech family during this difficult moment to ensure Kevin gets a beffiting send-off.
May his soul rest in eternal peace.
