Mzee Abdhul to quit music and be a part of son, Diamond Platinumz´music videos

Diamond Platinumz father, Mzee Abdhul released his debut song just 3 days ago but he has already called it quits.

Mr Juma´s much awaited debut song was nothing but a M1SS.

It was such a disappointment for fans and the East African community to have the bongo star´s father have such a production.

However, Mzee Abdhul backs this up claiming the debut ´Umeniteka´ was but a favor to the upcoming artists featured in the song.

And clearly puts across that the song was actually not his, the artists desperately needed a breakthrough into the industry.

In an interview with ´Yo Fave´, a Tanzanian publication, Mr Juma articulated:

I will never sing again.

My cameo in the song ´Umenitaka´ was a one-off thing.

I just wanted to support the composers of the song.

Sungura Madini, Promis Nyota and Blod Gaz were the artists featured who endlessly pursued the Popular International artist´s father.

He just felt compelled to feature in the song, once and for all, which he did.

That song is not mine.

The other artistes who featured in it, own it; they toiled to put it together.

They had, on different occasions, asked me to feature in one of their songs so as to give it a boost, given the popularity of my son.

I agreed, but keep on postponing until recently when I accepted to feature in the video.

Mzee Abdhul reveals that he has not earned a single dime for the feature.

I have not taken any penny from them for that cameo.

My key aim, however, was to have them get a breakthrough that they desperately needed.

Diamond´s father thanks his son, Diamond for the unending support and offers to feature in his music videos, if need be.

Further revelation was that his wife, Diamond´s mother actually called him to congratulate him on his debut song.

His mother (Sanura Kassim), called me yesterday (Wednesday) and told me she was so happy for me.

She even called me a superstar, and went ahead to tell me that the song is great.

The song has garnered over 9,000 views as we speak.

Diamond´s father highlighted he actually did couple songs earlier in his life.
