Christianity has been painted in bad light by the likes of Pastor Kanyari and other preachers who have been involved in countless scandals. One preacher is out to correct the mistakes of these scandalous preachers and sweep the nation with a wave of revival for this generation.

Pastors swindling cash from faithful, pastors running over pedestrians and going underground, gay pastors…. Kenyans have heard it all, but there is hope.

With everything that has been said and heard about men of cloth, when all hope was lost, one preacher stands out as a voice to this generation.

All you have to do is attend one firebrand event to know that Evans Kariuki has taken a different route to winning back the trust of those who have become skeptical about preachers. He’s called a firebrand by many and he is nothing short of being on fire.

The firebrand preacher is the current president of  Evangelical Youth Alliance of Kenya which oversees the millions of evangelical youth in the nation. With a new style of preaching an age old message, they are taking the nation by storm.

According to Kariuki’s website, Evangelical Youth Alliance targets youth for the purpose of making them have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and to teach them how to solely rely on the Bible as the standard of faith and practice.

The firebrand pastor preaches sermons that are geared towards a pure gospel of Jesus Christ and personal commitment to holiness. His preaching which is taking city youth by storm is a well needed dawn in our nation, instead of the crazy things like ‘panda mbegu ya mia tatu leo’.
