Gospel artist Ringtone Apoko is literally crying foul after he was allegedly assaulted last week on Friday, July 23, by popular blogger Robert Alai. Ringtone is now complaining of a very severe headache on his head; and claims the pain is unbearable even after seeking medication.
He posted a video while crying on his Instagram saying;
”I’m having a very bad headache. Izi dawa zote nimepewa MP Shah nimetumia. Lakini kichwa yangu haiponi… Mimi nikikufa, ni Alai ameniua, mimi sikuwa mgonjwa… Kenyans please pray for me. I’m having a very bad headache.”
Road Rage
Their beef was ignited after two got involved in a slight road accident in Kilimani and a tussle ensued.
A viral video of the singer and blogger Alai showed their bitter exchange of words, with one of Ringtone’s car windows shattered while he stepped on it.
Robert Alai allegedly hit Ringtone on the head with his rungu; and left him bleeding.
He was arraigned in court but was later released on cash bail.
They however, didn’t stop at that. Ringtone promised his fans that he would seek further justice over the same.
Similarly, Alai, who is keen to join politics ahead of the 2022 general elections, challenged him to a battle royale in court.
Clout?
Whether the situation is serious or not, Ringtone is still giving netizens doubts. He does such stunts whenever he’s almost releasing a song. Last time, he threw tantrums at gospel artist Guardian Angel claiming he was about to expose his ‘immoral behavior’. It turned out that they had a song together.
Ringtone is full of surprises. And maybe this time, he’s having a song which will feature Robert Alai. Who knows?
