Onto the next one! Khaligraph opens up on his childhood crush whose story moves him to tears

Khaligraph´s past has brought out the emotional side of him that if anything, has actually caught the hearts of many. Probably not the emotional bit, but the real stories he shares.

He started off with a rap narration of his former high school classmate who fell victim of the cruel world of drug abuse that almost crushed his dreams.

Khaligraph promised Kenyans another true story and true to his word, he has dropped yet another one.

This time round though, he opens up his heart about a girl, Ruby Jezebel, who stole his heart from the first day their eyes crossed.

For him, she was a sight to behold and he believed she was his destiny. They started chatting, became friends and finally graced the dating circles.

However, she was a little older than him, she was in college and Khaligraph in high school – which now became the talk of tow.

Despite it all, they gave that a cold shoulder. High school done and Khaligraph sought a living by being a part-time bouncer/rapper/waiter.

Meanwhile, Ruby a devoted Christian, worked at the front desk somewhere in Westlands, earning much more than Khaligraph.

Ruby would always give Khaligraph transport and always prayed for him. Khaligraph was madly in love with her, for she was the best thing that ever happened to him.

Turn of events

But a time came when things took a different turn. Ruby no longer went to church, she was always spotted in big cars with men and despite Khaligraph´s efforts to speak to her about it, Ruby never bothered.

He however never gave up despite the signs that their relationship was over. She started moving around with all kinds of ´sponsors´ and told Khaligraph to keep off.

From Buru Buru to Lavington was now her kind of lifestyle. Ruby blocked Khaligraph and that is when it struck him, he has no chance in this.

So he respected her decision and moved on, though in pain. Ruby now started flaunting her flashy lifestyle on social media, which left Khaligraph, the laughing stalk in his hood.

This taught him a lesson, because whenever he got involved with anyone, he would not commit to avoid the heartbreak.

Ordeal

3 years later, he gets a call from Ruby to meet up in town. Having been his girl at one point, Khaligraph decided to meet her up.

Funny enough, this was the very same day he crossed paths with Boni – his former Straight-A high school classmate.

Unfortunately, even after turning up, Ruby never showed up and this hurt Khaligraph because she wasn´t even picking up her phone.

So he went back home in embarrassment and kept his cool. 2 days later, he decided to search up for Ruby on Facebook, only to come across a post that read: ¨RIP, she passed on recently¨.

Ruby apparently committed suicide the very same day she and Khaligraph were to hook up, after finding out she had contracted HIV.

She left behind a letter addressed to Khaligraph, apologizing for the pain she had caused him during their breakup and this is something that makes him sad every time he has to think about it.

A story he has kept locked in his heart since back then and only let it out, this time.
