OPPO A71 finally retails on open market after giving Safaricom two weeks exclusive selling rights

The much awaited OPPO A71 smartphone was launched in Kenya a fortnight ago. OPPO A71 was sold exclusively at Safaricom shops across the country since its launch.

OPPO A71 is now open for sale to all company dealers in the country. The device retails at Kes 19,990 at all shops across Kenya.

“Having the device in the open market will now have Kenyans access our products at their convenience, which is in line with our vision of providing every Kenyan with affordable yet sophisticated devices with a great camera experience,” OPPO Kenya Communications manager Priscillah Kaumo quoted.

The new OPPO A71 has seen tremendous buzz in the internet for its capability of offering premium design and enhanced features that guarantee high performance, superb photography and unique design.

OPPO A71, which has been dubbed ‘Speedy Operations’, boasts a 13-megapixel camera that can take up to 50MP high resolution pictures.

The phone also has a 5-megapixel front camera equipped with `Multi-Frame Denoising technology for making clearer pictures under low light conditions, which has been in line with the OPPO slogan ‘Camera Phone’. The camera also comes with 6 Beautify levels, 8 real time-filters, water mark, palm shutter and the Bokeh effect.

The device also comes with the same unlimited gift hampers the official extra-protective phone cover and a 16GB memory SD card to enhance the total storage to 32GB.

Other outstanding features of the phone include Latest ColorOS 3.1 based on Android 7.1, 3GB RAM and 8-Core CPU. These enables smooth and speedy operations of the device.

OPPO A71 has a 3,000mAh battery that supports fast charging functionality. The phone being a 4G network enabled to accelerate 4G penetration in Kenya.
