Mr Nice denies he’s broke as many people like to claim: I always walk around with money stashed in my car boot. Have you ever walked with money in your boot?

Singer Mr Nice has yet again addressed persistent rumors that he’s broke and struggling to make a living despite having an illustrious career.

Over and over again, fans, media personalities and even family members have claimed the once popular singer who used to live a lavish life is now wallowing in poverty.

The singer, however, has insisted that he’s doing just fine and people should mind their business.

In an interview with Milard Ayo, a YouTube channel, Mr Nice said he sometimes walks with bundles of cash in his boot so there’s now way he can be broke.

“I always walk around with money stashed in my car boot. Having cash in your wallet or bank account does not mean you have it all. Have you ever walked with money in your boot? I have done it all,” he said.

Asked why he’s ever drinking, the singer straight up said that he does it because he can. He has the money.

“They say I live in bars, yes I do because I have the money,” the singer added.

The Kidali Po hitmaker further claimed he is never going to disclose how vast his wealth is just to satisfy nosy people.

 

Mr Nice forced to flaunt his Range Rover after word emerged he didn’t have bus fare 

Just days after Tanzanian singer Mr Nice was forced to come out and explain that he wasn’t stuck in Uganda after a promoter ditched him, the singer has gone for other ways to prove that he still has money.

Mr Nice took to social media after the allegations to share his brand new Range Rover. The singer was firing back at Tanzanian blogs that he claims are out to destroy his name.

The singer took to social media to share his car to prove that he’s doing just fine in Kampala and explain that people are just after wishing him bad luck.

“Hii gari si kwamba nimeazima, hii gari ni mali yangu sijaomba kwa mtu, sijakodisha kama mastar wa Bongo , This is my f*ckig car that I am driving in Kampala. So please wanaosema vibaya, tuachane sina mpango wa kuongea na mtu au kubishana na mtu.” He said in a video by Global Publishers.

Mr Nice is not a new face in the entertainment industry. The Tanzanian singer has been in the music industry for more than 10 years and before he went missing in action, he had dropped several club bangers that saw him top on most music charts in East Africa.

However, he disappeared for a while but when he came back…rumors claiming that he was seriously ill and was living in poverty started making rounds on social media.

Online news outlets also reported that he was drowning in liquor and had lost himself in this life. The singer, however chose to respond to these rumors while speaking to edaily where he went on to say that the rumors were baseless and had been cooked up to ruin his career. He said,

“Kaka, niko freshi kabisa! Hivi tunapozungumza niko kwangu hapa Nairobi; hata ndiyo naamka. Ni mwili tu ndio umechoka kwa sababu nilipiga show kubwa Mtito Andei last weekend. Unajua ili mtu achape show nzuri, lazima atumie nguvu nyingi sana.”

He went on to add that,

“Hivi mimi ni kuchoka tu; si ati naugua ama ulofa umenimaliza kama vile watu wanvyosema katika mitandao ya kijamii. Na ningependa kusema kwamba wanaoneza uvumi huo ni mahaters tu; hawanitakii mema.”
