Anerlisa Muigai In Rage After Her Message Asking For Financial Help Was Leaked By A Friend Online
Josiah Kariuki, CEO of Silica Booster Limited (SBL), was arrested on May 6th on charges of manufacturing and selling fake fertilizer. He pleaded not guilty to all charges, including conspiracy to defraud and forgery.
Kariuki’s fiancee, Anerlisa Muigai, became embroiled in the situation when a private message seeking financial help for his bail was leaked online.

Muigai expressed disappointment on social media, claiming betrayal by people she considered friends.
“When you thought you had real friends then boom, a blogger sends you a screenshot from a very enclosed group. Tomorrow could be you.
“At least I know I cannot count on everyone and that’s okay. And yes we managed to get out without your help. We good. #GodFirst,” her post read.

Muigai’s message indicated the bail amount was higher than expected. She has maintained Kariuki’s innocence and stated they secured the bail without external help.
