The autopsy conducted by pathologist Dr. Michieka Michieka at Shalom Community Hospital mortuary revealed that Wegesha, aged 38, died of exsanguination, which refers to the loss of blood. The postmortem examination indicated sharp force trauma to the neck as the cause of exsanguination.

Additionally, samples were collected for DNA and toxicology analysis as part of the investigation into her death.

Wegesha’s daughter discovered her mother’s body on Thursday morning, prompting her to raise the alarm. The body was found lying in bed with a deep cut in the throat and surrounded by a pool of blood.

The police are actively investigating the case and are particularly interested in speaking with Wegesha’s husband, who was reportedly seen in the house hours before her body was discovered. He left the house past midnight on Wednesday without informing the other family members present, and his whereabouts are currently unknown.

No arrests have been made in connection with the murder, and the motive behind the killing remains unclear.
