Bahati Accused Of Stealing Latest Hit Song From Rwandese Musician (Video)

Bahati’s latest track featuring Nadia Mukami broke the Kenyan record by gathering over 100K views on YouTube in just an hour. Turns out, Bahati allegedly stole the song from a Rwandan. The allegations have been backed up by a video; which is quite similar to Bahati’s ‘Pete Yangu’ in terms of the flow.

Bahati had heavily invested in promoting his album and ‘Pete Yangu’ was one of the songs in the album. He even went a step further to advertise the album in New York City.

Turns out, the hyped song was stolen. The song currently has over 600K views on YouTube and still counting. We don’t know if it’ll be pulled out of the platform just yet.

On the other hand, Bahati is yet to respond to the accusations. Instead, he has promised to release another song from the album once ‘Pete Yangu’ hits a million views in three days.

I SAID IT!!! GET THIS TO A MILLION VIEWS IN 3 DAYS I DROP ANOTHER VIDEO!!!

#PETEYANGU TRENDING AT NO.2 #FIKRA_ZA_BAHATI TRENDING AT NO.1 ????”

After his fans learnt about the accusation, they reacted;

”Na sinaskia umeiba broh siuidelete tuwaache kuaibisha kenya????”

”Kuna mtu anasema umeiba ngoma mkuu????????????hi mambo sijafurahia”
