David Rudisha eulogies his 24-year-old sister who succumbed to cancer

The cruel hand of death robbed David Rudisha his beloved sister Harriet Namunyak Rudisha. The athlete’s sister died of cancer at home in Narok county.

Rudisha’s sister was battling lung cancer for a long time. Harriet Rudisha succumbed to the chronic disease on November 24th at home in Trans Mara West.

I never once disagreed with her

David Rudisha mourned his sister in a heartfelt eulogy. The 800 meters Olympic champion says his sister was a very cheerful person whom he never clashed with not even once.

“It is so sad that our beloved sister Harriet is no longer with us. What I would never forget about her is the fact that I never once disagreed with her,” said David Rudisha.
