Hype Ballo is accused of killing Kabete DCI Officer.

Popular entertainer Allan Ochieng, known as Hype Ballo, appeared before the Kiambu High Court on Monday, facing charges of murdering Felix Kelian Kintosi, a DCI officer stationed at DCI Dagoretti and attached to Kabete Police Station.

Ochieng denied all allegations against him during the court session.

The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP), represented by prosecution counsel Jenifer Ndeda, requested his detention until a social inquiry report by Probation and Aftercare is completed.

Responding to the request, Lady Justice Dorah Chepkwony approved the prosecution’s application, ordering the accused to remain in Nairobi remand prison for seven more days.

Ochieng was apprehended along with six others, including DJ Joe Mfalme, in connection to Kintosi’s murder. However, the remaining six were released and later became prosecution witnesses.

The court has scheduled the bail/bond application hearing for May 2nd.
