Before Nelson Oyugi aka Nelly Oaks came into the picture, Akothee was being managed by Adhiambo Opondo who did all the donkey work to make Akothee a household name in Kenya.
Akothee parted ways with Adhiambo Opondo in early 2016 and employed Nelly Oaks who went on to be more than just a manager to her.
The reunion
Akothee linked up with her former manager during her recent gig in Kisumu city. The singer praised Adhiambo Opondo during their reunion.
“Mum thanks alot for the cake @a_opondo kiss Tamara for me,” Akothee captioned the photo.
