Media personality Gathoni Waruguru has shown unwavering support for her fiancé, DJ Fatxo, amid investigations into the tragic death of interior designer Jeff Mwathi at his home.

Speaking exclusively to Nairobi News, DJ Fatxo expressed his admiration for Gathoni’s loyalty.

“I love her so much and it’s great to see her being so genuine. At the moment, I don’t have the financial means to marry her unless Kenyans support me. When the time comes, everything will fall into place,” he shared.

Taking to her social media, Gathoni Waruguru penned another heartfelt tribute to her beloved DJ Fatxo, promising her eternal love and devotion.

“My heart belongs to you and will always be yours. My love for you grows stronger every day. King of Mugithi, my man. For those who thought we were parting ways, first pay your taxes before making assumptions,” she said.

In another post, Gathoni Waruguru urged the Mugithi singer to remain resolute and determined during this challenging period in his life.

“Do not be afraid, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous hand. You can do this!” Waruguru wrote, offering words of encouragement.

Before Jeff’s untimely demise drew attention, DJ Fatxo frequently showed his affection for Gathoni on his social media platforms, proudly boasting of their relationship.

The couple has been dating for over a year and were reportedly planning to get married later this year. However, their plans have been put on hold following Jeff’s death.
