We should ask Itumbi! Jackie Maribe deletes photos of Jowi from Instagram page

Citizen TV employee Jackie Maribe is slowing returning to her normal life after the jaw-dropping case in which she was accused of murdering Monica Kimani. Jackie and her fiance Joseph Irungu were accused of killing Monica in a bizarre case last year.

Well, a trip through her Instagram page which is no longer as active as it used to be, it seems Maribe has cleared all Jowi’s photos a sign that maybe she has moved on or just doesn’t want her relationship to be public anymore.

Jowie is currently detained at Kamiti Maximum Prison after the court denied him bail. Months after being released on bail, Maribe hadn’t deleted the photos of Jowi, including the time he proposed in a glamorous event.

Embracing

Last year in December during one of their court proceeding, the two seemed to have rekindled their love after Jowie was pictured embracing her tightly at Milimani Law Courts in their first such reconciliatory gesture since they were both charged with murder.

Jowi gave Jackie and her mum warm hugs that lasted almost a minute during their court appearance a thing that left cameramen scrambling for pictures.

I learnt of my daughter’s engagement through the media – Jacque Maribe’s father

Almost everyone knew about Jacque Maribe’s fiance Joseph Irungu apart from her parents.

Jacque Maribe’s dad, Maribe Mwangi, has come out to reveal that she never told him about Jowi’s public proposal but only learned about it through the media.

Speaking to journalists, Mwangi said that he had seen Jowi a few times but Jacque had never introduced him officially but was caught off guard by the proposal.

“She is an adult and I was not following much about their relationship. I even heard of their engagement over the media,” said the journalist’s dad.

Not her

He went on to say that her daughter is not an evil person but is guilty of love. Maribe broke the news about Monica’s murder on Citizen TV. His father said that there’s no way she could have done it and still read the news.

“The day after Monica’s murder, my daughter read the same piece of news at Citizen. How callous can she be to participate in a murder and have the courage to read the news? That is not the girl we raised,” he disclosed.

Jacque Maribe’s fiance is the most foolish murderer in Kenya -Kipkorir

As more and more evidence continues to be revealed regarding Monica Kimani’s murder, Kenyans have come to believe that Jacque Maribe’s fiance Joseph Irungu who is being accused of the killings, did it without a plan.

Top city lawyer Donald B. Kipkorir has come out to call him the most foolish murderer in Kenya because of how he killed the young lady and left evidence all over.

According to the lawyer, Irungu used Jacque’s car, and even brought the evidence back to her house before letting her drive him to hospital for treatment due to gun wounds.

Foolish

Police believe Joseph Irungu is the one who brutally murdered Monica while Jacque Maribe is an accomplice in the crime, detective believe she was helping Irungu to get rid of any evidence that would link him to Monica’s murder.

The Star reports that Maribe was arrested after detectives recovered some documents, among them a wallet and a handbag believed to belong to Monica at her house in Royal Park, Lang’ata.

A knife from Jacque Maribe’s kitchen has been subjected to scientific testing to establish if it is the weapon that was used to slice Monica’s throat.
