Kenyans on Twitter (KOT) are sarcastically demanding answers from Dennis Itumbi after his alleged girlfriend Jacque Maribe failed to secure top State House job.
On Tuesday president Uhuru’s Chief of Staff Nzioka Waita announced the appointment of Kanze Dena as State House deputy spokesperson and deputy head of the Presidential Strategic Communications Unit (PSCU).
Apparently KOT expected Itumbi to pull strings to have Jacque Maribe get the plum State House job. The Citizen TV anchor was close to State House during the presidential campaigns, KOT expected her to be awarded with the job apart from the Head of State Commendation she got on Jamhuri Day 2017.
It was girls day out for popular TV girls who traveled to the Coast to enjoy themselves. Terryanne Chebet decided to treat her family and friends to a to a memorable birthday party in Mombasa.
The former Citizen TV anchor turned a year older on May 25. She traveled to Mombasa alongside her daughters Imani and Talaa and friends Jacque Maribe, Kirigo Ng’arua, Monica Kiragu and Shix Kapienga.

Dennis Itumbi and Jacque Maribe refuse to publicly declare they are dating but their actions speak louder. Itumbi has once again showed how much he loves and cares for Jacque as she turned a year older.
In 2015 Itumbi interrupted news bulletin on Citizen TV to present Jacque with a birthday cake. The Citizen TV anchor shed tears of joy when she was surprised by her sweetheart.

The two still denied they were an item even after the romantic birthday surprise on Citizen TV. Well, Jacque turned 30 a day ago and once again Itumbi couldn’t hide his love for her.
“Stepping into the 3rd floor with an amazing circle of friends that I love and cherish. For the lessons I have learnt in the past 3 decades, the challenges I have dealt and surmounted, for the steps I have advanced, I thank the Almighty. God has been amazing, truly amazing,” wrote Jacque Maribe upon turning 30.

Dennis Itumbi wrote a romantic poem for his sweetheart as she turned a year older. The State House Director of Digital Communication however avoided using words that directly implied he was in love with Jacque.

Just how close are president Uhuru and Jacque Maribe? That’s the question still bubbling in many journalists after what transpired on Thursday April,20th 2017.
The president was holding a press conference in State House grounds to speak on Jubilee’s position in the upcoming party primaries which went down on that following Friday, April 21st.
He was keen to reiterate Raphael Tuju’s statement that aspirants would automatically be disqualified if they caused poll violence at the primaries. Has that happened by the way since it was nothing but total pandemonium?
Anyway, after his announcement, it was time for the president to take questions form the press which he was not keen on taking. Well, apart from one person and that is Jacque Maribe.
“Acha Jackie aniulize maswali,yeye ndo rafiki yangu (Let Jaque ask me questions. She is my only friend here)” Uhuru allegedly said as reported by Tuko.
And when he was done answering her questions, he walked away leaving the other journalists reeling with disdain.
But if you must recall, Jacque Maribe has always had a close relationship with State House. First of all being the only journalist to have had a casual interview with president Uhuru where they took a drive across one of his ranches and secondly her alleged romantic relationship with Dennis Itumbi.
Quite the lucky girl ain’t she? Her fellow journalists must really despise her.
