Children remain a blessing. No doubt! Celebrated media personality, Janet Mbugua could not stop gushing over the boost her children have brought, in her spiritual life.

Speaking on her You tube channel, the mother of two boys admitted that her children cemented her relationship with God.

My children have been bringing me closer to God and I always think like Huru and Mali are in touch with my spirituality as I possibly could.

Mrs Ndichu further revealed that she has been having some super rough days and good days but she now wants to create a space of balance, for good content.

Speaking of their growth, she sweetly expressed:

I want them to have a healthy vulnerability as young men. I want them to be able to articulate how they are feeling when they are in a safe space and I kind of want to live by example.

TV Queen, Janet Mbugua hasn´t had a silver spoon juggling motherhood, career life and being a wife.

The current NTV journalist quit Citizen in an unexpected stunt but that was all for the better.

She was either to choose between being a news presenter and being a present mother to her boys.

So she dropped work for family. The media personality has revealed that her son, Huru could not recognize her as ´mum´ anymore and that was nothing enticing.

This she expressed during her interview with fellow TV girl, Betty Kyallo on her K24 weekend show.

I was going through a lot when I decided to take a break. I was going through burn out. I also did not have a relationship with Huru. Yes I would interact with him but the nanny did most of the stuff. There is a day I wanted to hug him but he turned away from me.

And the time had come for her to choose a path.

He was more familiar with the nanny than he was with me. For 6 months I put my projects in order. I made sure I had projects that would sustain me for 2 years even if I left TV.
