Radio host DNG in host soup for allegedly leaving 13K bill to women he had invited to club, bragging he got them drunk next day

There was a time just spotting Radio DNG in a club drinking a soda or a soft drink was a big deal. He was a born again christian then and never touched alcohol. But that was a long time ago, these days, he’s all about balling in clubs and buying rounds of alcohol to friends.

Ordering for others without money

Singer Mumbi, however, thinks DNG went from a “no, I don’t club” type of guy to an Instagram con who brags for what he hasn’t done. This is after DNG allegedly invited her and a few friends to a party then ducked before footing the bill.

Apparently, he wanted the invitees to clear the 13K bill he had left behind after ordering several drinks. In a series of leaked screenshots, Mumbi is seen complaining how DNG didn’t have money to pay for the drinks but yet went online to brag how he spoilt them. The singer is angry that the One FM breakfast show host made them look like a bunch of cheap groupies who were with him because he was buying drinks.

Sassy singer Mumbi: My parents forced me to get a degree before I venture into music

Musician Mumbi, who is based in the US but has Kenyan roots, recently shared that her parents made sure she got a degree before she could officially focus on her music career.

During an interview with Adelle and Shaffie, she shared that African parents rarely support their kid’s talents therefore she had to work hard and get a degree first before they can listen to her pleas.

“I started recording in Dallas when I was seventeen for the first time. You know African parents do not support their children in talents, but I started anyway but I had a degree for them to support me. After my degree that is when I started doing music. I have not reached that point where i feel like giving up because I say to myself, if people love my music, then they love me.” she said.

Currently in Kenya

Mumbi has released a new EP title “For The Culture” which is one of the reasons why she’s currently in Kenya. She’s pushing the EP and hopes she can became a while established brand in the country soon. She also plans to move to Kenya soon.

“I will be relocating to Kenya soon. Having been brought up in Botswana, I started my music there and had influence from the likes of Brenda Fersie and that is where I picked up my singing.” she said.
