Award-winning Kenyan gospel group BMF makes grand comeback with sizzling jam ‘Mungu Tu’ (Video)

Be My Faithful (BMF), a Kenyan gospel group that I’ve been a huge fan of since my high school days, is finally back on the local music scene and I’m really excited.

If you’ve been listening to urban Kenyan gospel since time immemorial, I’m sure you’ve heard tracks like; I Live For You, Mpenzi Wa Suprise, Rudi Nyumbani, Njoo – which were all sang by BMF.

After a long hiatus, the group which comprised of; Freddy, Sammy Dee, Harry Ash, Maich has made a comeback in the local music industry, only that the first two members have since ventured into other things.

Harry Ash and Maich have rediscovered their love for music and they have released a jam which has been ruling the airwaves since it was released about a week ago.

Dubbed Mungu Tu, the song talks about giving thanks to the Lord, even when you are going through a difficult time, because he has promised that he will always be on our side.

Other than the powerful message in this jam, the other reason why I have had it on replay is because it is a beautiful composition.

To add to that, both Harry Ash and Maich brought their A-games on Mungu Tu. Their vocals on are really on point and you just want to keep listening to the song.

The verses are also simple and if you are the kind of person who likes to master songs, you will learn the whole of it after listening to it just twice, or maybe thrice.

The beat and instrumentation are really on point and they also blend well with the tempo of the artists. Honestly, I think Saint P deserves a pat on the back for the good job.

The video for this Mungu Tu is also dope. Although the concept was quite simple, the execution was above par. From the flawless scene transitioning, location, styling, dramatization, I just love everything about it.

The jam titled Banga has been ruling the airwaves since it was released a few days ago and to be honest, we are also feeling it.

Mbithi The Kamba Boy

If you like good Kenyan music and you have never heard of Mbithi The Kamba Boy then I should tell you that you’re really missing out because this guy is really talented ladies and gentlemen.

Banga is so infectious. Actually it’s one of the catchiest songs that I have heard in a very long time and I am someone who listen to a lot of music.

Although he also a rapper, Mbithi The Kamba Boy’s style is different. He flows with so much ease and the best part is that his rhymes are not predictable as is the case with most rappers.

His creativity is out of this world and you just want to keep listening to him as he does his thing because it sounds so pleasant to the ears.

The other thing that makes Mbithi The Kamba Boy’s music stand out is that he has a habit of throwing around words in his native language and I think it’s so awesome.

The beat on this track was produced by Saint P and if you are familiar with his work I am sure you know that he does not play. The video concept is simple but it does not even matter because we are all focused on the sick bars.
