Diamond Platnumz former woman, Lyyn cannot keep calm after she was invited to Diamond´s much hyped Wasafi Festival 2019 and she is here to brag about it.

The sensual lass, confirmed to the world that she is unstoppable after announcing to fans and the world at large that she was invited to her ex´s big event.

Diamond´s manager cautions Mbosso – I beg you, do not be convinced by people who want you to leave WCB

One of the Wasafi managers, Mkubwa Fella has sent a word of caution to Mbosso as he walks up the ladder of fame, while indirectly mocking Harmonize.

Speaking in regard to how Wasafi artists have more often than not shown WCB their backs as other managements pouched them, Fella warned Mbosso about such characters.

According to him, artists start off their careers at Wasafi then slowly rise up the ranks to become stars at what they do. Then they fail to acknowledge how much the management has done for them.

Fella believes Wasafi label has mentored so many talents before they walked out as stars and everyone was eagerly waiting to pouch them, only after their growth.

Mbosso

In a post he shared on his Instagram page, Fella urges Mbosso to grow his brand while still at WCB but cautions him against people who will be out to misdirect him.

Because for now, it is like Mbosso has no meaning to them, but Wasafi is fighting tooth and nail to see him grow his brand.

But a time will come when everyone will suddenly be his friend and vouching for him, the minute he graces stardom.

Fella´s advice to Mbosso Khan is, when they approach him, he should remind them that he has a contract to keep and fulfill.

The same people trying to pouch him cannot event meet the costs WCB has invested in him, in the first place.

Wasafi Festival 2019 takes a new turn – Diamond to host Harmonize and Ali Kiba to stage their performances

Wasafi Festival 2019 kicked off on a rather sad note, with key Wasafi signees missing out on performances.

However, before the year concludes, the Wasafi President has revealed that the Festival will be taking a different turn. It will be moving to Dar es Salaam, which will be one of its kind.

Speaking to the press recently, the bongo music heavyweight clarified whether Harmonize would be present both at the event and to perform.

And according to him:

Kama unavyojua kila mtu anakuwa na ratiba tofauti tofauti. Lakini kama ratiba ikikaa sawa tunataka na yeye [Harmonize] awepo. Tunataka wasanii tofauti tofauti wawepo, Boss Tale yupo Marekani lakini kabla ya kuondoka alimpigia simu Alikiba naye awepo.

Details

The event is set to kick off from 7 am on Saturday, the 9th of November 2019 as it shuts down at 6 pm.

All kinds of music, all sorts of Bongo artists – old and young, inclusive of Dance music, Singeli and Taarab.

The event goes down at the Posta and Kijitonyama grounds in Dar es Salaam.

However, it might be moved to Tanzanian´s national arena – Temeke, if Diamond´s request to Minister Mwakyembe, to use the grounds, is accepted.

Wasafi Festival President, Diamond finds himself at a tight spot after bongo songstress attacked him for being selective of Wasafi Festival artists.

Speaking to the press, Tanzanian actress, Shilole insists that Diamond should involve artistes outside WCB in his global Festival tour.

The 31-year old singer further articulates that if at all Diamond meant his word that Wasafi Festival is for all, then so should it be.

According to her, it ought not be cheap talk from the East African star rather he should actualize his words.

According to her, there are many talented bongo flava artistes who are top performers in the industry but are not signed under WCB.

They ought to be given a chance for publicity and for growth in their music careers.

However, WCB´s vice President, DJ Romy Jones comes out to address the allegations filed against his blood, Diamond Platnumz.

The Wasafi DJ neither denies nor accepts the allegations but believes it is just impossible to have everyone on the platform.

And for him, talent comes and goes and so do artistes, therefore, when the time comes for certain artistes to bloom, then they will be given the chance.

Diamond explains why Harmonize had to be left out of the Wasafi Festival 2019

Wasafi Festival 2019 kicks in with Wasafi artistes performing across the globe but in the absence of its very own star, Harmonize.

Word doing the rounds is that Konde Boy and his boss, Diamond are not in good terms.

However, the WCB King comes out to refute the speculations confirming that everything between the two is pretty fine.

During an interview, Simba shares:

The advantage or blessing of WCB is that we are overly booked.

For example I’m going back on Monday. Tuesday I have a show in Uganda, Saturday I have a show in Mwanza, Sunday I have a show in Burundi,

so we have different shows and getting us together is difficult.

Further expressing that it is not their place as Wasafi to cancel any of their artistes performances just so that they can be part of the Wasafi Festival.

The Festival is for everyone not only for WCB.

You can find we were booked even months prior so it means we will not be there sometimes.

We cannot cancel anyone´s show unless they themselves cancels them.

For example in Mwanza, Mbosso will not be there, Rayvanny will also not be there. In other regions even I won’t be available so….

Diamond Platinumz speaks about the spread of HIV among the youth due to lack of using protection.

He speaks during a conference in Tanzania as he reveals his intentions to campaign towards the importance of sexual abstinence to the youth.
