While partying with Usain and Minnie Dlamini at a G.H. Mums event, Unathi says the world’s fastest man challenged her to a “get down dance off”.

At first I tried HUMBLY to decline saying ‘Bruv as much as I could never challenge you to a 100m sprint I don’t think you want to challenge an African child to a dance challenge. Usain Bolt lights up Sun Met

Usain Bolt left a long lasting impression during the Sun Met after-party.

He opened the dance floor just after 7pm.

Usain was dressed in a three-piece check suit by designer Carlton Brown. He displayed his best moves as he danced to Prince Kaybee’s and Busiswa’s Banomoya.

“South Africa, I love you, it’s wonderful to be back,” he said.

Somizi Mhlongo and Mohale Motaung, DJ Tira and Gugu Khathi, Dineo Moeketsi and Solo, Jr and Tshepi Vundla as well as Sipho “Psyfo” Ngwenya and Aamirah served couples goals at the event.

Boity Thulo, Lunga Shabalala, Langa Mavuso, Mafikizolo, Moonchild and Linda Mtoba were the A list guests.

Usain Bolt ,Minnie Dlamini and Somizi will host the Sun Met

Usain Bolt has been announced as the host of the Sun Met alongside  Minnie Dlamini-Jones and Somizi Mhlongo.

The Sun Met, dubbed “Africa’s richest race day” is due to take place on Saturday, 26 January at the Kenilworth Racecourse in Cape Town.

The 2019 edition of the horse-racing event will be the second year in a row that Minnie and Usain will be working together.

Not straying too far from last year’s “African-inspired prints”, this year’s theme is “African Luxury: Precious Metals”.

Usain Bolt to be at the 2018 Sun Met

Usain Bolt is set to attend the 2018 Sun Met.

He is to join festivities at the prestigious event celebrated with G.H. Mumm, on the 27th of January.

Bolt, who is G.H. Mumm’s Chief Entertainment Officer will encourage fans to celebrate their way to victory.



Fans will get a chance to enter a competition with the prize being to rub shoulders with Bolt. To stand a chance, all you have to do is buy a bottle of G.H.Mumm from a major retailer and enter.

In a press statement Brand Manager Etienne Cassuto said: “We are extremely excited to be hosting our CEO Usain Bolt at Africa’s greatest race day and invite those daring enough to celebrate their next victories with is on the 27th of January 2018.”
