The challenges of long distance relationship are evident in Nyota Ndogo’s marriage; neither party is willing to completely relocate to each other’s country of origin.

The coast based singer got married to her Danish husband Henning Nielson sometimes in May last year. But she didn’t move with her husband to Denmark.

Nielson is been the one making trips to Kenya to visit his wife and kids in Coast. The Danish now wants his wife to visit him in Europe.

Nyota Ndogo disclosed she was forced to schedule a visit to Denmark after Nielson protested over her 7 months absence in Denmark.

The songstress revealed that she would be travelling with her kids to Denmark after she performs at Koroga Festival and two other shows in Nairobi.

“My husband anataka bibiake anasema 7months ujakanyaga danmark so after Koroga Festival kuna shows mbili kubwa Nairobi April then tuondoke for 1month couse mimi sitaki talaka…I think napenda nchi yangu sana ndio sijaikubali danmark kama kwangu,” Nyota Ndogo wrote.

Some said Peter Marangi was the anonymous person who did Nyota Ndogo’s horrendous makeup. The songbird has since addressed the mess seen on her face on her wedding day.

Nyota Ndogo walked down the aisle with her Danish husband Henning Nielsen on May 22nd 2016 in a ‘colorful’ ceremony held in Voi.

Kenyans were shocked by photos of Nyota Ndogo as her face had been over-pimped with makeup which made her look scary.

The Coast-based singer has since addressed the mess that was seen on her face on her wedding day; she says May 22nd 2016 was the happiest day in her life despite Kenyans labeling her a ‘ghost’.

Nyota says everything that happened on her wedding day was planned by God and that she was happy because she didn’t believe she could be married again since she was a mother of two kids.

“This was the happiest day of my life.na ninachojua Jua ni MUNGU ndio upanga kila kitu . nilipokua nikifanywa makeup ilioitwa yakigosti.kila kitu kinachotokea kwa mwanadamu ni mipango ya MUNGU.after kuzalishwa watoto wawili bila kupata msaada wowote wa kuwalea na kuambiwa hakuna mwanamume anaetaka kuoa mwanamke na mzigo wake yes nilikata tamaa . but nikasema nitawalea wanangu na wanangu watakua siku zote number moja na mwanamume akinitaka ajue atakua number 2. The coast-based singer received a generous offer to perform in the neighboring Somalia but she turned it down.

Somalia has been gripped with insurgency since 1991; Al Shabaab carries out terrorist attacks almost on a daily basis in the horn of Africa.

The idea of travelling to Somalia scares the living daylights out of anyone who loves their lives; so was Nyota Ndogo when she received a call to perform in the war-torn country.

The Coast-based songstress revealed a promoter offered her handsome payment to perform in Somalia but she turned it down because of her kids.

Nyota says no amount of money offered to her can compensate for her children living without their mother.

“I didn’t even think twice and rejected the offer. No amount of money can compensate for my children to live without a mother,” Nyota Ndogo said.

The Coast-based songstress made the easiest five figure in her life early yesterday morning; she was moved to tears as she couldn’t believe how lucky she was.

Nyota Ndogo revealed a lovey dovey man on a mission to surprise his girlfriend paid her to sing for his sweetheart a happy birthday song via the phone.

The ‘Watu na Viatu’ singer says she was shocked to receive a text message of the Mpesa cash transaction at 5.30 am when she was preparing her children to go to school.

The message indicated that she had received Kes 20,000 from a person whom she didn’t know; Nyota immediately thought someone sent her the money by mistake.

But the romantic man called her later and requested her to sing for his girlfriend a happy birthday song.

Nyota Ndogo has been forced to explain that the house she has built was a product of her own sweat and not ‘sponsor input’ as claimed by her critics.

Nyota Ndogo is the most bullied Kenyan celeb on social networking platforms; the songstress has been accused of marrying her Danish husband, Henning Nielson, for lure of money and not out of love.

She has always defended herself countless times even though haters still devise other ways of hitting her.

The latest gibberish spewed at Nyota Ndogo are claims that her house looks like a kipanda; haters have been throwing shades at her for building a ‘ramshackle’ house.
