Wema Sepetu’s fate decided as she was arraigned in court today

Wema Sepetu has availed herself at the High court,mahakama ya kisutu in Dar es salaam, where her case was to be heard today.

The lass who was found with a stash of weed in her house seems to have walked away with a warning as revealed by most posts shared online and also judging from her recent photo shared on her Instagram.

She was accompanied by her former manager, Martin Kandinda, who has been by her side since she was arrested. Her fans were also present and for the first time her mum and sisters were not there.

Through her Instagram page the 2006 Miss Tanzania wrote to say,

Wema Sepetu finally speaks days after being released from police custody

It has been a few days since Wema Sepetu reunited with her family after spending 6 nights in police custody, after being accused of drug trafficking. The Tanzanian sweetheart was however caught with nothing serious but weed that saw her get penalized as she awaits her court hearing date.

For the very first time, Wema Sepetu has come forth to thank fans who consider her as family for standing with her in prayers and even some spending nights outside the cell waiting for her to be released.

The actress wrote the moving message on behalf of her loved ones, the late Mzee Issac Sepetu’s family, for the support as she also remembered to thank her lawyer who made it possible for her to be released without having any issues.

The lass has however chose to stay away from her social media pages until her case is heard to avoid more problems on her side. She even chose to turn down the invite she got from her ex, Diamond Platnumz this past weekend.

The Police Commissionaire reveals why Wema Sepetu has not been released

Wema Sepetu’s fate was to be revealed yesterday but this did not happen as she still remains in police custody as reported by the Dar Es Salaam police commissionaire. The actress remains in the police custody together with other seven people as their fate is being decided.

Yesterday Diamond Platnumz brother’s among others were released and given one year to get clean as they remain being supervised. However what many seem not to understand is why the actress still remains locked up despite the Police commissionaire announcing that she was to be charged with possession on bhang in her house.

Some fans have started suggesting that things might be getting personal since the actress revealed that Paul Makonda was involved with a certain Tanzanian model by the name of Agnes Gerald aka “Masogange” who was once arrested after being caught with cocaine 150 kilograms of Methamphetamine worth millions of dollars in South Africa.

All this time social media made Wema Sepetu look like she was going to be charged for selling Cocaine, Crack, Heroine or some other hard drugs but shockingly, this Tanzanian sweetheart was just found in possession of weed aka Cannabis in her house.

This was revealed in s press conference held by the Police commissioner yesterday evening after 4 days of holding the lady at central police station in Dar Es Salaam.


The news has come as a relief to the Sepetu family and fans who have been praying for the lady to be on the safe side. However, fans couldn’t help but make fun of the Tanzanian police for focusing on small things such as weed while there are other people selling hard drugs and are still walking free.
