Pastors Wife Arrested For Faking Kidnap

Sometimes the devil loves to tempt children of God. To desist from this, we have to pray everyday, especially if we know that we are linked directly to the men who spread the word of God. A woman, Mariam Kusubira, a wife to Pastor Shadrack Kusubira of Noah’s Ark church in Namasuba, is now at Katwe Police Station, because of giving in to temptation.

Should we blame this on the recent trend of Kidnaps around the country, that we have failed to control, causing different people to think of them as money making ventures? Or should we just blame the devil for tempting this woman of God.

MARIAM WAS CAUGHT LYING

Mariam had made the country believe that she had been kidnapped on her way to pay for a piece of land, and the captors demanded a ransom of Shs 50 million to release

The lady who wanted to defraud her husband

her. This lady was however found at her daughter’s hous

e in Kikajjo, Makindye division. She was later taken to the police station and charged with elopement and Kidnap. The police have so far recorded over 70 cases of kidnaps, and majority of them have been self set up- as a form of fraud.

Self defense knowledge and Moves every Woman Must have

In the wake of Numerous Killings and Kidnap of women, you need some self defense measures up for just in case you are faced with  such a situation.

Simple Karate Moves

Learning some good old Karate moves could be the difference between death and survival in some situations. Moves such as the groin squeeze or punch could cause a good amount of pain to your attacker and destabilize them. If you are caught unaware from behind, you can trip your attacker by wrapping his leg with yours. this commonly known as “engwara”

Invest in self defense Gadgets.

Now on the Ugandan market is pepper spray which ranges from 25k to 60k depending on size. This one of the most common means of self defense world wide. Just aim at the attackers eyes and spray just enough to distract them until you can make your escape.

Keep sharp objects on your pocket.

A comb with a sharp pointed end can go a long way. Whether you have hair or not, always have a relaxer comb, a small Knife or pen for easy use.

All the above are great ways to protect yourself incase of an attack but remember, the most important thing is to avoid these situations. Avoid moving a lone at dark times and keep a number of someone yo trust on speed dial.
